Prof. Pierre Teodosio Felix
Pierre Teodosio Felix, também conhecido por πr, é um biólogo, professor, pesquisador, divulgador científico e escritor brasileiro. Felix. Graduou-se Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco no ano de 2000, Mestre em Genética pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco em 2002 e Doutor em Genética pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco no ano de 2013. Atualmente é Professor Titular e Pesquisador do CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO DA VITÓRIA DE SANTO ANTÃO (UNIVISA) onde também atua como: Coordenador do NÚCLEO DE PESQUISAS (NUPEQ), Coordenador do NÚCLEO DE MONITORIA ACADÊMICA (NUMA), Membro da Comissão Própria de Avaliação (CPA), Editor-Chefe da Revista ATHOS DE ESTUDOS INTEGRADOS, Coordenador do COMITÊ DE ÉTICA (CEP/CONEP/MS), Líder do GRUPO DE PESQUISAS MOLECULARES E BIOINFORMÁTICA DE FUNGOS DE INTERESSE INDUSTRIAL DA UNIVISA (FAINTGEN), Líder do GRUPO DE PESQUISAS EM GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES E EVOLUÇÃO (GPOP) e Pesquisador-Chefe do LABORATÓRIO DE GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES & BIOLOGIA EVOLUTIVA COMPUTACIONAL (LaBECom), além de integrar o Grupo de Pesquisa CONSERVAÇÃO E USO SUSTENTÁVEL DA BIODIVERSIDADE DA CAATINGA:UFRPE:DGP/CNPQ:Brasil. LABECOM - LABORATÓRIO DE GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES E BIOLOGIA EVOLUTIVA COMPUTACIONAL
he LABORATORY OF POPULATION GENETICS & COMPUTATIONAL EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY is a research laboratory linked to the Research Center (NUPEQ) of the UNIVERSITY CENTER OF VITÓRIA DE SANTO ANTÃO (UNIVISA). It was founded in 2018 with financial support from AESVISA and on demand from the Molecular research and bioinformatics group of fungi of industrial interest of UNIVISA (FAINTGEN) and the RESEARCH GROUP ON POPULATION GENETICS AND EVOLUTION (GPOP). Located on the UNIVISA campus, the laboratory develops research in Evolutionary Biology with POPSETS from world DATABANKS and/or obtained in collaboration with other Centers and Researchers. The work boils down to the discussion of themes of classical population genetics, the application of evolving didactic and molecular phylogeny, molecular variance analysis and phylogeography.
